I have long been attracted to patterns, pedals and stems of plants in gardens and on the trail, and I find they offer great raw material for exploring colors, while displaying inherent beauty. And they prove increasingly beautiful with their imperfections, wormholes and signs of fungi. For these images, the plant is the starting place where adventure begins!
