This site was developed to help people learn about and connect with flora, fauna and natural places. In a world that is increasingly urban and digital, many have lost the knowledge and connection to the natural world that is part of our heritage, as well as essential to our mental health.
We want to make nature both easily accessible and understandable to people of all ages from eight to eighty. Our goal is not to be the definitive scientific guide to nature, but to provide a doorway to a lifelong pursuit of natural knowledge and deepening connection to the natural world.
